How to develop lower body strength.

The LGNAAA Newsletter, featuring
the best in fitness and success tips.
________________________________________________

This is your seventh free video in the ten part series. I’ll
give you challenging exercises that develop both pushing
and pulling power in your legs.

There will be a few days lag time before the last three
videos are posted, as I’m leaving for New York early in the
morning. Since I’ll be there for a week, I’ll take my video
camera and laptop with me, and shoot the eighth and ninth
videos there. I’ll post them up after I download them onto
my laptop.

Nothing will stand in the way of completing all ten videos
and getting them up on my blog for you!

You definitely won’t want to miss the tenth video, which I
just shot today. It starts off with something that you’ll be
very surprised to see a man of sixty is still able to do! You’ll
be able to see it next week.

Make it a great day.

Your 5th free video – upper body strength.

The LGNAAA Newsletter, featuring
the best in fitness and success tips.
________________________________________________

I developed the Look Great Naked At Any Age system while I was touring all over the world with big name entertainers and staying in hotel rooms.

I wanted to stay in kick-butt shape, but I had nothing to rely on except my own body and whatever means I could invent to stay in shape.

In this video, I’ll show you what I came up with, and believe me, it’s challenging! But I also show you ways to gradually build your strength so that you can eventually perform the more difficult versions of these exercises.

Be sure to check the blog every day for each new video.
Enjoy!

Make it a great day.

The most neglected body part in your workout.

The LGNAAA Newsletter, featuring
the best in fitness and success tips.
________________________________________________

I’ll admit it, I’m human, and I had a tough time getting
started on my workout last Friday. My mind was focused on
an ongoing discussion I was having with a friend about a
world event.

But I managed to get going and had an intense, kick-butt
workout by focusing on the most important body part in any
workout.

Here’s how I accomplished the turnaround, and how you
can do it too. Read on for a great tip also, in answer to the
most common question about this particular body part.

First, understand that going through the motions of a
workout in an unfocused way will not yield the results you
could be getting. You need to start by pulling your energy
into the most important body part.

If you’re guessing that it’s your core – not a bad guess, but
not quite right. The most important body part in your
workout, the one that makes or breaks it, is your mind.

And how you use it affects not only the enjoyment you get
from your workout, but the physical results as well.

Whatever muscle group you’re working on, put your full
attention into those muscles, focus on how they work
together to accomplish the movement you’re doing.

This may sound a little “woo woo,” but I suggest you
visualize the muscle you’re working as if it were your lungs,
and “breathe into” the muscle when you inhale, then breathe
out of the muscle when you exhale.

Try it, it will change your experience as you work out, and it
will change your results for the better as well.

Now for that tip about one of the most often asked question
about this neglected body part, the mind.

I’m often asked about ways to maintain focus when your
mind starts wandering. Let’s say for instance you’re trying
to work out, but your mind keeps drifting to that sales report
you haven’t finished, or any of a million things except your
workout.

What you definitely DON’T want to do is try to stop it by
telling yourself not to think about the report. That’s like
telling someone, “Don’t think of an elephant,” and of
course, they immediately think of an elephant.

Don’t think of ELIMINATING something from your
thoughts. Instead, REPLACE it with something else,
something that will benefit you, like focusing on and
breathing through your muscles.

I’ve made it a point to really put my mind fully into the
present moment in my last few workouts, and what a
difference! Breathe into your muscles, enjoy the way they
work, and you’ll get a lot more satisfaction, both during
your workout, and afterward, when you look in the mirror.

Make it a great day.
